Come on in, the water's bloody fantastic!
If you haven't yet dipped your toe into the world of ocean
paddling, then make this your season. Or, if you're a veteran
Outlaw, then make this your season to whip some proverbial!
The Outlaw Ocean and Crit Series are back, and they're bigger
and better than ever, with new courses, formats and prizes to
entice paddlers of all persuasions and abilities. This is
Victoria's premier ocean racing series, with races open to all
craft: skis, outriggers, SUPs, paddleboards - if you can paddle it,
then you're an Outlaw.
So what's it all about?
The Outlaw Crit Series
The 'Crits' comprise five fast and friendly criterium-style
races held on the last Thursday of every month, from October to
March (excluding December). With four-, six- and eight-kilometre
courses in the relatively sheltered waters of Port Phillip Bay,
these races are perfect for novice paddlers wanting to try out
their skills, or pros wanting a solid hit-out against some of the
Victoria's best. What better way to cool down after a hard day at
the office?

Bay to Across The Bay in a Day. The marquee event of this series is
the Graeme Long Memorial race, taking in 25-kilometres of the
famous Surf Coast, from Urquhart's Bluff to Torquay. This race
attracts some of the best paddlers in Australia, if not the world,
so make sure you bring your a-game! But don't worry if you're a
