If you enjoy the social atmosphere of paddling, if you enjoy the
sun, the sand and the waves, then this event if for you!
This 4km knock-out loop course on the Bay at Easten Beach,
Geelong, will test paddlers of all abilities, from beginner to
advanced.
There will be four main events on race day:
* A Grade
* B Grade
* C Grade
* D Grade
The team at Outlaw Paddling will put all paddlers into their
appropriate grades.
Prizes:
1) Top three place getters in each grade will be awarded a
prize.
2) Fastest male and female paddlers on ocean racing skis under
20ft (e.g. Fenn XT, Epic Sport, all specs and plastic skis) and
OC1s, as well as OC6 teams, will be awared $100 cash prizes! Please
note there must be five or more of the same craft racing for cash
to be awarded. If there are fewer than five people, a non-cash
prize will be awarded instead.
3) Prizes will be awarded for the fastest male and female in the
Over 40s, Over 50s and Under 20s categories.
4) Prizes will be awarded to the fasted SUP and
paddleboarders.
Knock-out format explained:
Example: 20 competitors sign up to compete in the C Grade (AKA
Experience Plus)
* 1st race 20 paddlers start and the top 12 go through to the next
round.
* 2nd race 12 paddlers start and the top six go through to the
next round.
* 3rd race six paddlers start and finish order determines final
results
REGISTRATION AND PRESENTATIONS
Eastern Beach Geelong - look out for the tent and kayaks, SUPs and
paddleboards.
EVENT SCHEDULE
8.00 am: Late registrations
8.45 am: Race briefing
9.00am: Race 1 Start A Grade
9:05am: Race 1 Start B Grade
9:10am: Race 1 Start C Grade
9:15am: Race 1 Start D Grade
9:30am: Race 2 Start A Grade
Kayak Hire
Peak Adventure will be supplying kayaks to hire at a great price
of only $30, which can include kayak, life jacket, paddle leash and

SAFETY
All competitors MUST wear a PFD, and leashes/leg ropes must be
attached from your boat to you. If you come off, you have to be
connected to your craft - please do this for your own safety.
